Laura Bassette (Doughty), Sara Flanagan (Bouck), Andrea Jasper (Doughty), and Kinsey Tom (Zentall), were named the first doctoral students funded as Fellows in the Technologies In Special Education (TISE) grant (OSEP funded).

Laura Bassette (Doughty), Sara Flanagan (Bouck), and Kathryn Szwed (Doughty) recently published their study “Pentop computers as tools for teaching multiplication to students with mild disabilities” in Education and Training in Developmental Disabilities. 

Jordan Shurr (Doughty) co-authored the manuscript “TITLE OF TELECARE ARTICLE” along with T. Taber-Doughty, J. Brewer (Purdue College of Technology), and S. Kubik (Texas Tech University) and is currently awaiting a positive response from the journal Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Dake Zhang (Xin) co-authored:  Xin, Y. P. & Zhang, D. (2009). Exploring a conceptual model-based approach to teaching situated word problems.  The Journal of Educational Research, 102(6), 427-441 She will will present at the Psychology of Mathematics Education Conference (Sept 23-26, 2009) in Atlanta GA and will be published in the conference proceedings:

Dr. Suzanne Beike (Summer 2009) is an Assistant Professor of Special Education at Purdue University-Calumet, Indiana.
