Educational Specialist's Program

The Educational Specialist degree is designed to be a terminal degree. Emphasis is on the practice of teaching and conducting research in the various areas of exceptionality. A minimum of 33 credits beyond the Master's degree is required for this program, with individuals typically adding licenses and/or certificates in additional area(s) of exceptionality. A project is required for completion of the program. Specific requirements depend upon previous degrees and areas of interest.
