Cost, Housing, & Facilities

Cost of Study

Tuition and fees are subject to change. Graduate students who hold an assistantship receive a tuition remission, as do most fellowship awardees.

Housing

A wide variety of living accommodations are available. The University has Purdue Village for students with families and Hilltop Apartments, Young Hall and Hawkins Hall for single graduate students. Costs for the accommodations are printed in the application instruction forms. Off-Campus Housing Services, part of the Dean of Students Office, maintains listings of apartments, boarding situations, and houses.

Facilities

The Special Education Program is located on the fifth floor in the Beering Hall of Liberal Arts and Education (BRNG). This new building contains offices for all faculty and graduate students.

The Special Education Program also works cooperatively with other on-campus programs (e.g., M.D. Steer Speech and Hearing Clinic, Counseling Center) and other off-campus agencies (e.g., public schools, developmental centers, group homes).
