Romantic Relationship Research:
Long Distance, Traveling, or Geographically Close Partners
The
Research. You are being asked to
participate in research on people’s perceptions of their important romantic love
relationships. The research is being conducted by Dr. Mary Carole Pistole of the
Department of Educational Studies at Purdue University.
The purpose of this research is to better understand adults’ love relationships, because these relationships are so important to people’s well-being. In today’s world, partners in a love relationship do not always live or work in the same geographically close area; so we are investigating perceptions when (a) at least one partner travels, (b) both partners live in different locations (i.e., a long distance/commuter relationship), and (c) both partners live geographically close to each other. Participation will be anonymous. Purdue University IRB has approved both studies.
To Participate: If you are at least 18 years of age and currently involved in a romantic relationship, use the link below, following the directions.
