By Remembering I Develop and Grow (The BRIDGe)

The death of someone we love is not just an event. It is a life changing experience that forever affects who we are and how we view the world.  Grief is the normal response to the death of a loved one.  It can be an overwhelming experience because so many feelings and thoughts bombard us at once.  Grief can also be a lonely experience for individuals and families.  People grieve in unique and personal ways and it is common for members of the same family to think, feel, and act differently throughout their grief journeys.

The BRIDGe is an 8-session support program for grieving families made possible through a collaboration between the Purdue University College of Education and the Tippecanoe School Corporation. The mission of the BRIDGe is to improve the lives of grieving families through offering them the opportunity to connect, share, and just spend time with other grieving families.
