Timeline for C&D Master’s Students
First Summer after Admission
Although most new students begin classes in the Fall, 3 courses are available during the summer: EDPS 50100, EDPS 53300, and STAT 50100.

explore internship possibilities; form advisory committee (for Plan of Study) and submit Plan of Study draft by January 10 |

register for Summer (if desired) and Fall classes |

file Plan of Study with Graduate Studies office |
|
April |
confer with Program Coordinator regarding internship placement and "third level" placement |
|
First Summer |
|
|
|
you may wish to take courses (talk with your advisor); EDPS 52200 and STAT 50100 are usually available |
|
Second Fall |
|
|
mid-October |
register for Spring classes; mark “Candidate Yes” on form if you plan to graduate in May |
|
end of October |
plan of Study must be on file with Graduate Studies office for May graduation |
|
December |
register for NCC exam; |
|
Second Spring |
|
|
mid-March |
register for summer classes (if needed); mark “Candidate Yes” on form if you plan to graduate in August |
|
mid-April |
take NCC exam; initiate licensure application in OPPL; request letters of recommendation |
|
May |
begin job applications in schools |
